Brooks Brothers sells Cedar Wood Shoe Trees for $78. Not long ago, I purchased these exact shoe trees from Brooks Brothers for $28. The original manufacturer stamps their name on the metal: Rochester Shoe Tree Co. I wrote to them and asked what is the model of shoe tree being sold and they confirmed it is the $29.95 Men’s Woodard Shoe Tree. Increasing the cost of the product by a reasonable amount to match the market is understandable; increasing the cost of the product by more than 2.5x is a poor decision by Brooks Brothers.
