The cedars of Lebanon are legendary. They are known for their utility and are featured in many books and religious texts; there is even one on the flag 🇱🇧.
The cedars are also almost all gone. There’s no shortage of finger pointing, backwards pontificating, and explaining why there are so few cedars left.
For me it was a reminder to go and see the things you want to see. Independent of the world’s perspective, it’s ok to enjoy something for yourself.
